Audi 2.5TFSI RS3, RSQ3, TTRS Downpipe

Downpipe without catalyst or particulate filter for the following models with 2.5TFSI engines:

Type 1, 76mm diameter:

• Audi RS3 8P 2.5TFSI Quattro - 2011-2014
• Audi RSQ3 8U 2.5TFSI Quattro - 2014->
• Audi TTRS 8J 2.5TFSI Quattro - 2009-2014

Suited for versions with 310, 340, 360 and 367hp.

Type 2, 63mm diameter:

• Audi RS3 8V 2.5TFSI Quattro - 2014->

Suited for versions with 367pk.

Type 3, 76mm diameter:

• Audi RS3 8V 2.5TFSI Quattro - 2017->
• Audi TTRS 8S 2.5TFSI Quattro - 2017->

Suited for versions with 400pk.

Not suited for versions with GPF / OPF.

By installing a larger bore downpipe backpressure in the exhaust drops which makes the turbo rev easier which means the turbo starts building pressure at lower RPM's. If during shifting the pressure drops it also builds back pressure faster. 

By only installing a larger diameter downpipe the horsepower usually rises between 15 and 20hp and torque also goes up by 25 to 30Nm. Combining a downpipe with chiptuning brings even more extra power.

A software update (chiptuning) would be advised.
