Description / Mini Cooper S Pulley upgrade
Smaller diameter pulley for installation on the supercharger. By installing the smaller pulley the supercharger makes more RPM resulting in more airflow and boost which can be used to increase horsepower.
The original pulley has a diameter of 65,5mm, the pulleys we offer are 55,5mm(15% smaller), 54,5mm(17% smaller) and 53mm (19% smaller). The more revolutions the supercharger makes, the more air it displaces and the more power you can get out of the engine.Â
These pulleys are suited for all Mini Cooper S models that are equipped with a supercharger from stock. On the John Cooper Works models these pulleys can also be used allthough the power gains will be smaller as these superchargers are already equipped with a 58mm pulley.
After installation of a smaller pulley we advice to also modify the engine management.
