Mini Cooper S Supercharger

The R52 and R53 Mini Cooper S models are equipped with an Eaton M45 supercharger. One of the most common problems for these superchargers is a seal in the rear transmission case to the water pump breaking down and leaking oil. When all the oil has left the transfer case the gears start wearin each other down resulting in a loss of transmission to the water pump. When the water pump stops turning the engine starts to overheat. 

When we receive a used supercharger we open these up and check rotors, bearings, gears and seals. All parts are cleaned and everything which isn't up to specifications will be replaced. As a preventive measure all superchargers receive fresh oil and a new seal in the waterpump transmission.

All rebuilt superchargers are supplied with an original size pulley, smaller pulleys can be installed for a 50€ fee.
