When installing a turbo or supercharger the signal from the MAP- and MAF-sensor increases. As soon as this signal nears 5 volt it reaches the limits of the ECU which can result in an error or limp mode.
With this product it is possible to limit the signal reaching the ECU and preventing it from entering limp mode.
On many vehicles from the period 1990-2005 the original ECU is capable of adapting itself to a low boost turbo- or superchargersystem without the need for different software. By limiting the signal coming from the air mass sensor it can be a very easy way to get your car tuned safely.
With newer models it can still be possible to use this product but with newer models with more sensors installed the chances become smaller.
This product doesn't work on all models. It is always important to check ignition and injection afterwards to be sure the car is running safe.
